Now, first things first. This recipe wasn’t just made overnight. No, there was more to it than just putting together spices. Actually, we’ve been working on this for a few years until we were ready to share it!
We’ve made this numerous times that it’s down to the science. Should we add a hint of onion with it? No, it might overpower the taste and subtlety of the garlic. Add a splash of vinaigrette? Maybe. What about celery salt? Yes, please!

How popular is this dish when it comes to our dinner table? Really popular! It got to the point where our relatives would bug us about the recipe. No, not even the recipe; they wanted us to cook it for them in general. Of course, besides cooking up a storm in the kitchen, we still have to maintain a kosher restaurant in Las Vegas, so we don’t always get to cook as often as we want to for our loved ones! We’re sure they understand! Enough with this, let get started on the dish!
What you’ll need:
7 lbs brisket
2 ounces Worcester Sauce
4 ounces liquid smoke
3 tsp garlic powder
3 tsp onion salt
3 tsp celery salt
¼ cup of minced garlic
1 ½ cup bbq sauce
-Line a baking pan with foil which should be enough to cover the whole meat. Using a small bowl, combine garlic powder, celery salt, and onion salt together. Season all the sides of the brisket. Drizzle Worcester Sauce and Liquid Smoke over the meat. Rub the garlic on the meat when you’re done.
-Cover the meat by crimping it. Let this sit overnight it a refrigerator for marination.
-Remove the meat and bring it to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Preheat your oven to 275 degrees F and roast for about 5 hours. After that, remove the foil and pour 1 ½ cup of barbeque sauce on the meat and continue to cook it for another one hour.
-Remove from the oven and enjoy your garlic rubbed BBQ brisket!
