It was around the winter time when we served this dish to our guests at home. We didn’t know how else to put it, but it was an absolute hit. It was a cold winter night here in Las Vegas, and we figured that we should serve something warm for our guests. After all, what’s a good chicken noodle soup around the fireplace, right?
Nevertheless, after that night, friends have been bugging us share the recipe. We’ve always been generous with our kosher recipes here at Anise because we are all about sharing good food at the dinner table. So, without hesitation, we went back to the kitchen to perfect the recipe. With a dash of salt and the right amount of chicken stock, we got just want we wanted. After cooking it a few times, we invited our original guests to see if they would have the same reaction. Lo and behold, they loved it!
We welcome all kinds of soup during the winter time. There’s nothing like getting cozy by the fireside and eating a deliciously made soup. So, we’ve come up with this kosher chicken soup just for your essential winter needs!
What you’ll need:
2 cup shredded chicken
8 ounce egg noodles
1/2 cup onions
2 medium size carrots (diced)
1 cup chopped celery
2 cups potatoes
6 cups chicken stock
pepper (to taste)
salt (to taste)
In a large skillet, place the chicken stock and bring it to simmer.
Place the chicken, onion, potatoes, celery, pepper, and salt.
Simmer for about one and half hours.
Add the egg noodles and cook for another 30-45 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
