Blueberry Muffins With a Kick
To some, skipping breakfast is a cardinal sin which is why blueberry muffins come in handy when they have to get up and go. Whatever you have to do in the morning, grab a muffin for your morning commute. Seriously, there’s nothing like it in town.
The best part is, you can make them right at the comfort of your home and prepped them throughout the week. Unlike the blueberry muffins you purchase at the grocery store, we made sure to incorporate the freshest ingredients. Blueberries were the highlight of this dessert as it stood out from the oven.
What you’ll need:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
⅓ cup oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups blueberry
Preheat the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a muffin pan so that they don’t stick. Combine all the dry ingredients together, and do the same for the wet ingredients. Add the wet mixture to the dry one by folding them until they are well blended. It is important to not overmix this. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for about an hour. Use the toothpick test to see when it is finished.
Baking Tip:Blueberries are perfect during the summer seasons, but you can also use frozen ones if they’re not available.
