Prime rib is truly a treat especially when it is prepared right. As it turns out, this dish isn’t as complicated to cook as it looks. This kosher recipe is fantastic and easy to make that your family and friends will start to ask for your secrets. But let’s not reveal that to them! Let’s start cooking up a storm in the kitchen!
What you’ll need:
4 lbs prime rib (boneless)
1/3 chopped rosemary
2 tablespoon oregano
¼ cup oil
3 minced garlic cloves
4 tbsp kosher salt
2 tbsp black pepper
Place the ribs in a large pan. Slice from slits on the meat. Using a small bowl, mix oregano, olive oil, rosemary, and garlic. Slather this mixture on the roast, and adding them on the slits. Let this marinade for about an hour.
At 450 degrees Fahrenheit, preheat your oven. Add a dash of pepper and salt around the roast. Have the fatty side of the roast facing up for about 25 minutes.
Lower the heat to 325 degrees and continue to cook the ribs for about an hour (or until the center is 130 degrees for medium rare). Let the ribs rest for about 30 minutes before slicing, and remove excess salt. Enjoy with horseradish!
