Super Easy Gyro Recipe for Everyone to Try

Who doesn’t like a good gyro? They’re comforting to eat and they’re always deliciously seasoned! Gyro’s textures are tender to the bite and they are deliciously paired with pita bread to finish that good ole comfort food. We thought that we should cover one of these beloved dishes here by sharing with you a quick and easy gyro recipe! Ready? Let’s begin!

What you’ll need: 

1 lbs ground beef

1 lbs ground lamb

5 cloves grated garlic

1/3 cup grated onion

1 tbsp all spice powder

2 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1 tbsp vegetable oil


Using a large bowl, combine the ground beef, lamb, pepper, salt, onions, salt, and all spice powder together. Mix them all together until  the ingredients are well blended and then shape them into small patties. Set aside.

In a skillet, heat the oil and fry the patties for about 4 minutes. The larger each patties are, the longer their cook time will be.

Serve in a warm pita bread along with sliced onions, tomatoes, lettuce and your favorite sauce! Enjoy!
